You need to look at the big picture here, not individual cases.

We should really be investing in trains and buses, not cars of any type.

Is this post in fuckcars? No? Well it should be. We should be investing more in public transit and building cities people can live in without necessarily owning a car. Your participation in society should not hinge on a multi-thousand dollar purchase of a car along with the yearly insurance and other maintenance costs.

Alright, but what if I wanted to learn about heat pumps? Or the clever engineering behind some old (usually mechanical) products?

I don’t know how to do any of that, but it sure sounds like you do
Despite numerous announced initiatives by companies profiting from child and slave labor, none have produced meaningful results. The underlying issue is the inability to ensure a true living wage for farmers, leading them to resort to unpaid child labor, while the industry strives to keep cacao prices at rock bottom.
The conclusion is clear: consumer-facing marketing claims unravel to reveal no substantial impact, leaving consumers susceptible to being “brandwashed.” Until significant tangible changes are witnessed or an assurance of ethical practices throughout their operations is evident, Tony’s Chocolonely remains excluded from the list.
They at least give a reason for Tony’s to be on the boycott list. But then again, this is the last “news” article they published and it’s now over two years old, so who can really say.

I think the point I’m trying to make is that everything is already political, no stretching required, and trying to create a space “free of politics” will always fail. Even browsing the comments of some of the other posts here, there are plenty of people finding the politics of your NonPolitical comics.

This is a new community focused on NonPolitical Comics
Oh sure, I can definitely see how slowly expanding into others’ space could be perceived as not political

Presumably members of congress don’t usually get a say in the disciplinary actions of any federal agency.
ICE sent a letter to Veasey stating it would address the matter and that such internal investigations can take up to 120 days, but it has otherwise not provided any information.
Veasey’s amendment came a week after the Observer reported that Rodden, who was apparently pulled from federal immigration court schedules following the Observer’s reporting last February, had returned to immigration court in Dallas.
Since ICE doesn’t want to fire the guy, this is one of the few official acts thay can be taken to “encourage” him to leave on his own.

super powerful ones from the various cheap China sites
Those aren’t even ebikes in most states. There are already laws limiting the max speed and power an ebike can have, these are just electric mopeds or motorcycles with pedals.

The original was called All You Need Is Kill, which also happens to be what the new animated movie is called. I always liked the weird name, but I can definitely understand needing to change it for a wider english-speakong audience.

Gavin Newsom says Israel did not commit genocide in Gaza
Now hold on, maybe he’s ramping up to say Israel is currently committing a genocide in Gaza. And no, I’m not going to watch the video to check.

He responded that the controversy was “understandable given the fact that many people were alive at that time and still have vivid memories of the event” but stated that JFK Reloaded neither condoned nor glorified the event.[3][20] In retrospect, Ewing said he regretted tying a cash prize to killing Kennedy, saying that he had been “naïve” and had “underestimated the deepness of affection for Kennedy held by many American people”.[9]
It sounds so fake, but wikipedia doesn’t lie

It’s revenue, so costs don’t matter.
Alright, so avacados are the globs of meat dangling from some trees that they use to reproduce.
Is that sounding more natural to you?

Maybe you just lack the sophistication to truly enjoy an orange sloth, various animals but with stripes now, or the blue lion. Ever think about that?
I remember the first Division game, it didn’t even come close to predicting the pandemic. Some nebulous enemy group decided to spread a super plague bioweapon through cash on/before christmas. It also “wasn’t political” if you believe Ubisoft.
Don’t know much about the sequel, though.
The remorhaz page gives you the relationship to frost worms as part of a “Related Creatures” sidebar, while the frost worm only has “Additional Lore”. I assume this means that the two are related, but no one in universe actually knows for sure, since the remorhaz takes centuries to metamorph into the frost worm. Looking at the Pathfinder Wiki, I can’t find much more that goes into the details of either creature.

There was an upper limit on how much you could earn like this. I know, because you could also just disconnect from the internet and set the clock forward.
For long distance maybe, but immediately saying we should all fly everywhere because it has the fewest deaths per passenger mile would really not be looking at the big picture.
