For tourniquets, make sure you pull that strap TIGHT before you start turning the windlass. If the strap is loose, the windlass won’t tighten enough to stop the bleeding.

I’ve had a few styles of shawarma and I think they’re similar but shawarma is in a tortilla-like thing, while gyros are in pita bread or something. More of a burrito vs taco.

This is the meshtastic community, which revolves around radios that use unregulated frequencies to communicate.

These radios are either standalone or connect to your phone via bluetooth. They allow you to text others or transmit some data (e.g. temperature, humidity in a greenhouse).

They’re completely separate from cell networks. They form their own network by repeating signals they pick up. You can designate how many hops a message will have, which is how many times that message will be repeated.

The more people who have one, the better it works.
