I only close by browser for updates, so I use Cookie AutoDelete which removes cookies when the tab is closed. That said, I still instinctively reject cookies when given the option.

1·2 months agoSignal is easy to on board folks to. Not a huge fan of the phone number requirement, but it’s worth the trade off for me. I used Session for a while, but media sharing was buggy. I’ve heard good things about Simplex, but the inability to have a desktop client was deal breaker for me.

I love how the only rational person on the thread gets down voted.
I just use an audio recorder while the call is on speaker phone.

I used it for a couple years, but came back to signal because I had so many issues with media sharing.

You have to adjust your number, since this happened 5 year ago 😅
Can you explain why you chose the hand and eye? A hand print is a very identifiable trait, so it seems counter to the idea of privacy.

41·9 months agoI use Firefox Focus/Klar as my default and if I want anything to persist, I’ll open it in Brave or Chromium.
I’d recommend nebula.tv as another media alternative.
