the only change I’d make is there being multiple fruits that the top one grabs and just doesn’t give it to the fellow below

I mean, not to be blunt, but duh?
it would only really make sense to even talk about English as a second language if the general population does speak it as a native language. in the US people arent ever going to say something like french as a second language, because there’s no need for the distinction
the big tips that would push me towards a full diaper are: audible fart, closely followed by a reaction of the woman in green directly behind him, then an immediate dismissal
yeah it’s not concrete, but the shit in his pants probably wouldn’t be very solid either

13·19 days agothe bit that I always am happy to know is that through his entire show, he never appeared to be outwardly religious.
he said be kind, because it’s good to do, not because god said.
he said love one another, because it’s wonderful to be loved back, not because it was in some book.
that he was able to preach without the stigma of religion gave the enormous reach across cultures that his program had.

obviously lead is not an advantageous difference, but it’s also disingenuous to imply it’s the difference in generations.

462·1 month agoI understand that people are being told different stories, the created issue is that those stories aren’t questioned with even the slightest scrutiny. for this situation, the only evidence that the officer was going to be hit by the vehicle is from a video that’s 500 feet away with 15 pixels for the car and officer.
no one wants to find clarity if it already fits their narrative

Political Discussion and Commentary@lemmy.world•How come most people call Maduro a dictator?English
21·1 month agoI do not have good input on this topic, as I would be in the woefully uninformed camp. if you had asked me who the president of Venezuela is, I wouldn’t even be confident in saying they have a president, as opposed to a prime minister or something else entirely.
I too am interested in where the dictatorship claims stem from, and I’m frankly worried to search for anything, as I know that politically biased articles are going to be all over

I like the idea of documenting what I’m doing all that, but I have a hard time rationalizing what should actually be recorded.
like if I’m debugging something, and I’m putting silly print statements to quickly troubleshoot, should I document that?
there are certainly times where it makes sense to have a record, but there seems to be many more instances of not needing it at all, which then makes you see recording it as a silly formality, which then kills any motivation to continue recording.
