  • Open body language is a big part of it. Or generally gestures that clearly communicate you’re not upset - smiling, gentle/playful touches.

Also if you are angry but it’s at a situation and not a person, make that clear. E.g. even something as simple as the difference between “this totally sucks!!” and “this totally sucks, doesn’t it?” The second options conveys that you’re experiencing an annoyance together, as opposed to you experiencing an annoyance and you may decide to take it out on them.

80-95 going to housing and making sure your family is eating well is extremely reasonable. That’s the whole point of the money. That’s not kindness, that’s making sure your kids have a good life and it’s a major goal that most people strive for and would be happy to achieve.

Our cat kneads my husband’s arm when it’s bedtime. Right arm, never the left one. It must remain outside the covers and easily accessible, but not moving, until said cat has decided he’s done kneading it. This usually takes about ten minutes. No one is allowed to pet the cat while this is happening, or interrupt the kneading in any way.

  • I just bought a Clara. My previous Kobo has been with me for ten years of heavy use. It still works, just a bit slow. Gave it to my husband who wants to start trying out eReaders. I’ve loaded so many of my own files, from textbooks to books that I can’t find in the Kobo store in the language I want. My only complaints are with the books I bought from Kobo directly, which have been edited numerous times without my knowledge or consent. They don’t even provide a list of changes made since I bought the ebooks. So it’s the pirate life for me from now on, but I buy directly from the authors whenever possible.
