5·2 days agoI usually melt a single ice cube in my cup of tea after removing the leaves. It’s still quite hot when I drink it, but the ice helps to bring it down to a palatable temperature more quickly than just waiting for it to cool down.

1·2 days agoA block shape is probably more efficient to ship. I figure Charlie is probably buying some of the cheapest cheese available.
It might be a good idea to add a setting to disable it. I do not think that I ever would, but I can imagine someone possibly finding it distracting or whatever on
inline code blocksin particular.

I know that the stardate system was rather inconsistent throughout the franchise (and even from episode to episode sometimes), but that is absolutely not a TNG stardate 🤓

Mechanical Keyboards@lemmy.ml•[GB] The Patisserie Tales artisan keycapsEnglish
2·4 days agoI think these are meant to be used as a key like ESCAPE or something like that which is apart from the rest of your keys. Being used as one of your alpha keys is just being done here for the sake of the photo, where multiple of them can be placed in a row so they are all depicted in the same shot. You would probably only want these for keys which actually benefit from having a distinct tactile profile.

Selfhosted@lemmy.world•Is it safe the new Syncthing-Fork v2.0.14 on F-Droid?English
4·4 days agoI just have it constantly running in the background at all times. Every time I restart my phone, I manually open Termux and run the command
syncthing. I haven’t noticed any difference in battery life compared to when I used Syncthing Fork. It may possibly be better or worse, but not noticeably so.

41·4 days agoI migrated from the Syncthing Fork app to the official Syncthing package in Termux, and it was a breeze. Is there any reason for preferring the app, other than being afraid of CLI?
