2·2 days agoThat and privacy, you also have a lot of control over what each app can do with gOS’s permissions settings vs standard ROM and most of that is enabled by default. Can break some apps, especially banking related. I have 122 installed, of that three gave me a little bit of trouble where I had to disable some protections to get them functional. DeGoogled by default, I use microG for some limited Play services to get stuff like Youtube Revanced working.
A big thing is gOS not using JIT compiling. So, app updates are pretty slow but this kills a lot of malware exploits.
From what I understand, the early church didn’t teach anything extra extra-biblical about hell. Until the Roman Empire made it the official religion in 380. Coincidence?

4·9 days agoI got myself IP range banned lol. Why? I think the comments that triggered staff initially was saying establishment Democrats are scum on worldnews. That’s all it took.
After that I kept making new accounts with various combinations of “spez” and “micro penis” while advertising Piefed everywhere and that pissed someone higher up off big time.
I’m playing QBJ3 via Linux version of Ironwail right now, can confirm it works flawlessly. I think it’s something like 70 hours long? According to Vinesauce anyways. I’ve barely begun lol.

Take notes from Wheel of Time too that was a travesty. I think it’s a very flawed book series, but adding the show runner’s egos needing to deviate so heavily from canon on top of that killed all potential.

5·9 days agoI was loudly opposed on their repo but ideology won over practicality. I think it severely hampered their adoption rates letting perfect be the enemy of good enough.
I get their reasoning but I think it was quite obvious when I was talking to someone via secure Signal infra vs SMS.
Right here is why I do not care about their House vote.
