The progenitors of post-rock. It’s a “genre” that I only dabble in at the edges, so haven’t really listened to any Bark Psychosis, despite recognising the name.

I took another listen to a few songs from Hex, including this one. It’s atmospheric. Thanks for prompting me to do so.

The album is really quite something

I enjoyed it, they have some catchy numbers. It was at a small/medium sized venue, 300 capacity. It was Serra’s birthday so they had a cake on stage that all the band members took a bite out of without using their hands. Her mum, dad and brother must have come over to Melbourne for the gig; she’s from Western Australia.
