If reading 29 CFR (Department of Labor, fit testing), 30 CFR (Bureau of Mines respirators), and 42 CFR (NIOSH respirators) weren't enough for you... well, here goes.
* '''On the bright side:''' In 2025, there doesn't seem to be a trend of enacting mask bans anymore. There were previous pages on this Wiki about how one might go about dealing with these, which got deleted in the last spam attack (and no, I will ''not'' be restoring them, especially after thorough reading of some of the discussed stuff... uuugh.)
* '''The not so bright side:''' [https://www.techdirt.com/2025/03/21/democratic-senators-team-up-with-maga-to-hand-trump-a-censorship-machine/ TechDirt], is covering the repeal of Section 230, again, in ''2025'', which has the potential to adversely affect running a Fediverse instance, or really anything on the internet. This has the potential to make hosting any user-created content in the United States unsafe. If you live in one of the fifty states, please call your senator.

Here are a few things kinda CPCSupport related. Kinda related to this page, but less focused.

Stats

Stats is a big part of respirator fit testing - with error bars reach all the way to ~2, unfortunately... but these aren't the only oddities that have been noticed.

Fed stuff

If reading 29 CFR (Department of Labor, fit testing), 30 CFR (Bureau of Mines respirators), and 42 CFR (NIOSH respirators) weren't enough for you... well, here goes.

  • On the bright side: In 2025, there doesn't seem to be a trend of enacting mask bans anymore. There were previous pages on this Wiki about how one might go about dealing with these, which got deleted in the last spam attack (and no, I will not be restoring them, especially after thorough reading of some of the discussed stuff... uuugh.)
  • The not so bright side: TechDirt, is covering the repeal of Section 230, again, in 2025, which has the potential to adversely affect running a Fediverse instance, or really anything on the internet. This has the potential to make hosting any user-created content in the United States unsafe. If you live in one of the fifty states, please call your senator.
